Stephen joined as Chief Executive Officer of Northgate Public Services in September 2016. He is responsible for the company’s overall strategic development and has a considerable track record of growing and transforming businesses with particular expertise in software and services domains. He began his career in the British Army as a commissioned officer and studied electrical engineering at Cranfield University.
Alan O’Reilly is Chief Financial Officer for Northgate Public Services. He is responsible for providing financial and business leadership for the company and for helping to determine and deliver the company strategy. Alan joined NPS in November 2016 from GC Aesthetics and has extensive international experience in senior finance roles in software & technology companies in Asia, the United States, United Kingdom and Europe over a 15 year period across a range of growing businesses.
Ian Blackhurst is Executive Director Safety at Northgate Public Services. He is responsible for developing client solutions and for managing our large portfolio of software platforms and solutions. Ian previously worked at GEC-Marconi, Siemens, BAE Systems and Blue 8 Technologies in a variety of product development, sales and senior management roles.
Tina is Executive Director for Government, Health and Housing at Northgate Public Services. Her team is responsible for developing solutions and delivering software and services into these sectors both in the UK and internationally. Tina has previously worked at Capita, Convergys, Cable and Wireless and Fujitsu Services in a variety of senior leadership roles across: BPO, sales, service delivery, product management and development within Europe, India and the Middle East.
Greg is Chief Operating Officer of Northgate Public Services. He is responsible for the company’s overall delivery governance and has a long track record of ensuring the companies he has worked for deliver successful software and services solutions.
He started his career in the software industry at the age of 18 and has been dedicated to software and associated services delivery organisations since the age of 23.
Paul Broome is the Chief Technology Officer for Northgate Public Services. Paul is responsible for the digital innovation, development, and delivery. Paul joined NPS in January 2017, bringing with him 40 years of digital experience. Paul has previously worked in senior digital roles in a number of companies, including Trust International, Oracle Retail, Torex, Guardian and Observer Newspaper Group and Barclays Bank.
Patrick Smith is Human Resources Director for Northgate Public Services and leads strategic change and business development projects. Adept at creating optimal people strategies, Patrick has extensive experience in business acquisition and restructuring, TUPE, HR shared services, and developing, mentoring and managing leadership teams. Prior to NPS, Patrick was a senior manager at PWC’s HR Consulting practice delivering strategic change programmes to both the public sector and international clients. He has over 22 years of HR and change management experience.
Tom is the Head of Global Business Operations for Northgate Public Services. Tom is responsible for company’s growth through maximising synergies between NPS and NEC group. Tom joined NPS in 2018, bringing NEC’s innovative and proven cutting edge technologies to NPS and accelerate NPS’s international business expansion by collaborating with NEC’s global business networks. Tom has previously worked at NEC America and NEC Headquarter overseeing NEC’s global public safety business.
Sarah is the Chief Digital Officer for Northgate Public Services and CEO of Snook. She is a designer and serial idea generator. She co-founded Snook, MyPolice, CycleHack, Dearest Scotland, Alloa Pride and The Matter. For this work she was awarded a Google Fellowship for her work in technology and democratic innovation and named as Good magazine’s 100 extraordinary individuals tackling global issues in creative ways. Sarah was given an honorary doctorate from the Glasgow School of Art for services to design in 2019.
In 2018 Sarah was named by Nesta and the UK’s mainstream publication the Observer as a New Radical, individuals who are tackling society’s biggest challenges.
Daily, Sarah is the CEO of Snook, an award winning global design consultancy based in London and Glasgow and the Chief Digital Officer of Northgate Public Services, supporting the business to design and deliver services fit for the 21st century. Snook are on a mission to design a world that’s more human.
Sarah is a board member of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Addaction a mental health charity and Settle a charity dedicated to tackling the causes of youth homelessness.
She is a fellow of the RSA, sits on the Mayor of Hackney’s Digital Advisory Board, and is a fellow at the Edinburgh University centre for Service Excellence
