26th March 2018: Housing and care provider, Anchor is moving its housing support services to Northgate Public Services’ (NPS) cloud platform to improve customer service and enable the organisation to adapt more quickly to changes in the sector.
The five-year deal, worth £1.5 million, is part of the housing association’s wider ‘cloud first’ strategy. As England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care, and serving more than 34,000 older people, relocating its NPS Housing application to the cloud will ensure Anchor can use the latest advances in mobile technology to better support customers and staff.

We need a system that gives us detailed information so we can be proactive and offer the best service to our customers. NPS Housing enables us to do that and moving to the cloud means we can make the most of agile working and self-service capabilities. The latest version of NPS Housing is available anywhere on any device and a cloud deployment fully supports that strategy.”
Accessing its housing software through the cloud will enable Anchor to increase efficient working, allowing staff to access all the information they need when on site or on the phone with customers, or when maintaining a property. This will improve service and deliver cost savings by reducing upfront investments. Other benefits include being able to access the latest housing software updates from NPS as soon as they are live.”

The new contract will extend a 12-year existing relationship with NPS.
