An experienced Operations Director with 25 years’ experience in the UK public and private sector, improving performance and efficiency, Matthew comes to Northgate from Serco, where he was latterly Regional Operations Director.

Having begun with Serco in 2004 as Client Account Director, Matthew held several roles while there, including responsibility for transforming the financial and operational performance of the teams.

His experience helping to deliver complex multi-service outsource solutions covering areas such as HR, Finance, Contact Centres, Adult Social Care and Children’s Services, will stand him in good stead in his new role with Northgate. Matthew has, over the years, worked with local authorities, health, the private sector and the third sector.

Looking forward to his new role, Matthew said: "It’s a fantastic time to be joining Northgate Public Services, I have a great team, and together we can build further on the great successes NPS have had in the last few years, making a real positive impact to the lives of the people that we and our customers deliver services to."

Northgate’s Executive Director Joe Bradley said: “I am delighted to welcome Matthew on board to lead our excellent IT and Health teams. He will help us to build on our already successful record in the health and social care sectors, delivering services which help make the lives of citizens better and easier – services such as our new-born hearing screening and our National Blue Badge Service, helping disabled people to park more easily.”
