NPS Social Care National User Conference 2015
On 5th November 2015, we held our annual Social Care National User Conference.
Overview of the day:
NPS business update
Peter Tucker, Sales Director at NPS, gave an overview of the different platforms we provide across the public sector and the success we have achieved with our customers as well as updating the group following our acquisition by Cinven. Peter then spoke about how we’ve invested in our social care solutions.
Alan Sharp from South Gloucestershire Council spoke about the council’s journey to find a solution that would meet their needs and how they struggled to buy into existing solutions. He went on to share his enthusiasm for NPS Integrated Care and explained how the council is planning to work closely with us and use it to best effect.
Mobile and flexible working
Kim St Louis from London Borough of Havering discussed the lessons learnt so far and the benefits of mobile working. Kim also shared the council’s plans to use mobile in joint working with Community Health and their Children’s department.
The day also included a number of demonstrations of our solutions such as NPS Integrated Care, NPS Mobile and ESCR document management.
NPS Social Care Roadmap
Cathryn Ella, Product Manager at NPS, gave an overview of what products we offer and explained in detail the plans we have for the next three years. Cathryn also invited input from the group to discuss what they would like to see prioritised.
In the afternoon we split into Adult and Children’s groups. Both groups heard from HSCIC, who spoke about health integration and child protection information sharing. The afternoon sessions were an opportunity to open up discussions on NPS Integrated Care in more detail and to share best practice.
